Sophomore -- 2010-11: Teamed with Danielle Sneir, Yesica Rojas and Erin Pavlick to break the program record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.86 at the Sun Belt Championships... Teamed with Kariann Stevens, Kayla Derr and Kelly Grace to break the program record in the 200 free relay (1:35.00) at the SBC Championships... Teamed with Derr, Rojas and Vicnan Torres to break the program record in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:29.83 at the SBC Championships... Swam a personal-best and team-best 23.66 in the 50 free at the SBC Championships... Named Sun Belt Conference Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 17... Second-best time on the team in the 50 breast with a 33.28 swam at the FIU Invitational... Top times on the team in the 50 free (24.35) swam at the Miami Ohio Invitational and in the 100 free (52.63) also swam at the Miami Ohio Invite... Swam a 1:02.50 in the 100 IM at the FIU Invitational -- good for second-best on the team this season... Also second-best time on the team in the 200 free (1:56.73 swam against Florida Gulf Coast)... Second-best time on the team in the 200 IM with a 2:14.60 against Rice... Teamed with Sneir, Rojas and Pavlick to swim a team-best 1:49.36 in the 200 medley relay against Florida Atlantic and Nova... Also teamed with Derr, Stevens and Torres to swim a team-best 3:34.06 in the 400 free relay against Miami and Central Connecticut State.

Freshman -- 2009-10: Teamed with Danielle Sneir, Erin Pavlick and Yesica Rojas to finish fifth (1:49.31) in the 200 medley relay and teamed with Kelly Grace, Kayla Derr and Chelsie Kidd to finish fifth (1:38.83) in the 200 free relay at the Sun Belt Championships... Teamed with Sneir, Rojas and Pavlick to swim a 3:57.44 in the 400 medley relay at the SBC Championships... Swam 2:11.98 in the 200 IM, 4:44.93 in the 400 IM, 53.46 in the 100 free at the SBC Championships... Third in the 200 free (2:03.13), won the 100 free (55.31) against St. Leo on 2/2... Second in the 100 free (55.30) against Florida Atlantic on 1/9... Teamed with Caroline Foster, Kariann Stevens and Grace to win the 200 free relay (1:45.02) against FAU... Second in the 100 free (55.23) against Brown and Indian River on 1/8... Second in the 100 free (56.26) against Florida Gulf Coast on 10/24... Teamed with Kidd, Nicola MacKenzie and Vicnan Torres in the 200 free (1:43.53) to defeat Florida State.

Prior to FIU: A transfer from Manatee Community College ...  was a dual-sport athlete while at Bradenton Prep, competing in swimming and volleyball ... named team captain and MVP in both sports from 2006-08 ... swam for the Sarasota YMCA Sharks from 2008-09 ... a member of the National Team in 2009.

Personal: Born November 6, 1990 ... daughter of Andres and Sofia Macchiavello ... has two sisters, Andrea and Estefania ... sister, Estefania is also on the FIU swim team ... majoring in business.
