One of three seniors on the squad...versatile swimmer who is the top returning butterfly and IM option on the team...school recordholder in the 400 IM (4:37.35).

2006-07: Competed in the 500 free, 100 and 200 butterfly, 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 and 400 IM...At Sun Belt Championships (2/15-17/07): Shattered her own school record by nearly three seconds in the 400 IM (4:37.35) in the preliminary round of the Sun Belt Conference Championships...placed 11th in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.60) and 14th in the 400-yard IM (4:41.89)...swam the third leg of the sixth-place 400 free relay (3:42.61) and the second leg of the 200 free relay (1:40.91)...During the season: Third place finish (1:10.30) versus Western Kentucky (10/26/06) in the 100 breaststroke...earned seventh place at the Houston Invitational (1/12/07) in the 200 breaststroke (2:28.29).

2005-06: Won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:29.21) in the meet versus nationally-recognized Florida State and LSU (10/28)...recorded the program’s fastest time in the 400 IM (4:40.17) in the dual meet against Miami (1/21)...second leg in the winning 200-yard freestyle relay versus UM...at that same meet, was the team’s top finisher in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.40)...cut nearly two-and-a-half seconds off her time in the 100-yard butterfly during the course of the season.

2004-05: Set four personal-best times in the 50 freestyle, the 200 individual medley and the 100-and 200-yard breaststroke at the Sun Belt Conference Championships...cut two seconds off her season-best time for a then-school record, en route to a ninth-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:26.30) at the league championships (2/18)...improved time by a second to set a then-second school record in the finals of the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.33) at the SBC championships (2/17)...victorious in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.78) in the dual meet at UM (10/16) and second in the quadrangular (1:11.12) with Florida A&M, Miami and New Orleans (1/22).

Prior to FIU: Four-year letter winner and all-county honoree...two-time team MVP...four-time state qualifier...as a senior, competed in the state meet in three different events...finished third at the district meet in the 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly...selected team captain as a senior...swam on the state champion 400-freestyle relay as a freshman... member of National Honor Society and Beta Club as a junior and senior.

Personal: Born November 26, 1985...daughter of Mark and Donna Overman...named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2004-05...represents the team on the FIU Student-Athletic Advisory Committee...aspires to be an orthodontist or oral surgeon...biology major with minors in chemistry and business.
