Checking in on the Quarterbacks
FIU quarterback
Alex McGough is coming off a record-breaking season where he had the most completions (269), passing yards (2,722) and passing touchdowns (21) in FIU football history.
Entering his junior season, McGough has learned the FIU offense, improved his fundamentals and gained the confidence of his teammates. McGough is the undisputed leader of the offense and has progressed in each of his first two seasons.
"He's better with anticipation, touch, and accuracy," FIU coach
Ron Turner said of McGough. "He knows the offense so well. His eye discipline is much better. Trust what your eyes are telling you and when he has the talent that he has, he's going to be good." (Click
