Dear members of the university community,
 
FIU football's second game of the season against the Maryland Terrapins is on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at FIU Stadium. To purchase tickets, please click here or visit the University Credit Union Box Office in the R. Kirk Landon Fieldhouse, located on the west end of FIU stadium.

We would like to share the following information to help you plan:

Tailgating
Tailgating starts at 3:30 p.m. For guidelines, a campus tailgating map, or to reserve your spot, please click here.  

As a reminder, tailgating is only permitted in designated areas.  

Parking Lot Closures
Lots 6 (east of stadium) and the portion of Lot 7 closest to the stadium will be closed for tailgating beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9. Lot 24 is currently closed. If you park in these areas, please find alternative parking by the designated time.

Parking will be available on the west side of Lot 7 until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9. After this time, only students and faculty attending art classes will be allowed to park in the area of Lot 7 closest to the art studio.

Parking
General parking is available in Lot 5 (located east of the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center). 

Street Closures
The following streets will be closed to traffic beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9:

• Southwest 17^th Street, which runs in front of the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center (WPAC), between the WPAC and the Baseball Stadium.
• East Campus Circle/Southwest 113^th Avenue between Lot 8 (north of Parkview Hall) and FIU Stadium.
