IRVING, Texas (June 7, 2017) – Conference USA has announced its preliminary television schedule for the 2017 football season, including an initial six FIU games selected for TV this upcoming season.
National games will be broadcast on traditional linear television this season on ESPN Networks, CBS Sports Network, STADIUM (formerly ASN and Campus Insiders) and beIN SPORTS. The majority of these exposures will take place on Saturday, with select Friday night telecasts also being featured.
Saturday, Sept. 9; Alcorn State at FIU (beIN SPORTS); TBA

Saturday, Nov. 4; UTSA at FIU (STADIUM); 7:00 p.m. ET
Saturday, Nov. 18; FIU at Florida Atlantic (STADIUM); 7:00 p.m. ET
Friday, Nov. 24; WKU at FIU (beIN SPORTS); 7:00 p.m. ET
On Tuesday, June 6, the Big Ten Conference announced the Sept. 16 game between FIU and Indiana will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network (BTN). Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
FIU also announced game times for three of its home contests this season.
Saturday, Sept. 30; Charlotte at FIU; 7:00 p.m. ET
Saturday, Oct. 14; Tulane at FIU; 7:00 p.m. ET
Saturday, No. 11; Old Dominion at FIU; 7:00 p.m. ET
The Panthers will have two of its first four games nationally televised as FIU hosts Alcorn State in the team's home opener (Sept. 9 on beIN SPORTS) followed by a trip to Bloomington, Indiana, to take on the Hoosiers (Sept. 16 on BTN) a week later.
Additionally, FIU will travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on Middle Tennessee (ESPN3) on Saturday, Oct. 10, and will host UTSA (STADIUM) during homecoming on Nov. 4. The Panthers will close out the season with back-to-back televised games with a trip to Boca Raton, Florida, to take on Florida Atlantic (STADIUM) on Saturday, Nov. 18, followed by a Friday night matchup with WKU (beIN SPORTS) to close out the regular season.
The 2017 C-USA Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 2 is scheduled to air on either ESPN or ESPN 2. It marks the 13th-straight year that the C-USA Championship will air on the ESPN Networks. ESPN is also scheduled to carry all six of C-USA's bowl games in which it has a guaranteed selection.
Additional Conference USA football television exposures will be released as soon as they are finalized.

The 2017 FIU football season will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 2, when the Panthers travel to Orlando, Florida, to take on the UCF Knights.
FIU's 2017 schedule is highlighted with games against Boca Raton Bowl and 2016 C-USA champion WKU, Popeyes Bahamas Bowl champion Old Dominion, AutoNation Cure Bowl participant UCF, Foster Farms Bowl participant Indiana, Hawai'i Bowl participant Middle Tennessee and Gildan New Mexico Bowl participant UTSA. In addition, the Panthers will face Rice, Charlotte, Marshall and Florida Atlantic as well as first-time opponents Alcorn State and Tulane.
