Cartaya is 10 for his last 21 and leads the Panthers with a .390 average. Shenton was 10 for 23 last week and is hitting .350.

Jose Garcia hit three home runs last week and leads the Panthers with eight round-trippers on the season.

FGCU has lost three of its last four games, including dropping two of three games to Rutgers last weekend.

Gage Morey leads the Eagles with a .375 average. Jay Hayes is second on the team with a .368 clip. Kohl Gilmore has hit a team-leading seven home runs.

Last season FIU swept a two-game series from FGCU. The Panthers won 12-5 in Fort Myers and 7-0 in Miami.

FGCU leads the all-time series with FIU, 8-7.

Stetson (17-3) has won 17 of its first 20 games this season. The Hatters took three of four games from Rhode Island last weekend in DeLand.

Brooks Wilson leads the Hatters with a .350 average. Jacob Koos is hitting .333, which is second on the Hatters team.

Stetson has hit only seven home runs this season but the Hatters are scoring six runs per game.
