JuiceBlendz Becomes Official Partner of @FIUAthletics

MIAMI (Jan. 14, 2015) – The FIU Athletic Department announced on Wednesday that it has signed a 10-year deal with JuiceBlendz. The partnership is worth $345,000, making the Weston, Fla., based company an official sponsor of FIU Athletics through 2023.

"We are pleased to welcome JuiceBlendz as an official sponsor of FIU Athletics," FIU Executive Director of Sports and Entertainment Pete Garcia said. "It is great to see a company with such strong ties to the South Florida area show its support. We want to thank [CEO of JuiceBlendz] Adam Ogden for his commitment to the athletic department and our student-athletes."

JuiceBlendz is growing fast by blending a fresh business concept with choice locations, a state-of-the-art retail environment, fresh fruit and real juice, plus their own complete line of nutritional supplements. The smoothie and juice bar menu is complemented by an Eatz menu consisting of breakfast bagelz, wrapz, and sandwichez, as well as soupz, sidez and saladz.

"We are thrilled to support Florida International University and the entire South Florida community by partnering with such a world class organization," CEO of JuiceBlendz Adam Ogden said. "We have watched the tremendous growth of FIU over the past five years, and feel that it was inevitable to team up by offering the JuiceBlendz and YoBlendz brands on-campus. By offering the perfect blend of taste and health to the FIU students through our smoothiez, sandwiches, saladz, wrapz and frozen yogurt we can see this long-term partnership blossoming not only through the Aramark contract, but through the FIU Athletics program and other great organizations on-campus as well."

Both Ogden and JuiceBlendz have received numerous accolades, from "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "40 under 40" to "Business of the Year." Recognized as one of the leading smoothie, juice bar and yogurt franchises, the companies are projected to double in size and revenue, generating employment opportunities and driving the economy.
