MIAMI (Nov. 28, 2016) – FIU senior defensive tackle
Imarjaye Albury has accepted an invitation to the 2017 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
The game will take place on Jan. 21, 2017, from the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Albury wrapped up his senior season with the Panthers, recording 38 total tackles (13 solo) with 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack. The Miami product also notched a quarterback hurry and recovered a fumble. Having played in all 12 games in 2016 (starting 11), Albury notched three-or-more tackles in eight contests, including a career-high six at Old Dominion (Nov. 26). He began the year with a then-career-high five tackles versus Indiana (Sept. 1).
A three-year starter on the defensive line, Albury finished his FIU career with 76 total tackles (29 solo) with 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in 36 appearances.
