First year Head Coach
Jeremy Ballard, inherits a team that returns nine players from last year's roster, including two starters – All-Conference USA Third Team selection and All-Defensive Team member
Brian Beard, Jr. (Rancho Cucamonga, California) and
Trejon Jacob (Raleigh, North Carolina) – and welcomes four newcomers.
FIU begins the season with three-straight home games, beginning on Nov. 7, when the Panthers take to the floor to face Webber International, and then on Nov. 9, against Johnson & Wales. FIU closes out the three-game homestand on Nov. 13, against Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
