The FIU Indoor Track and Field team continued their winter season with a number of notable performances at the IU Relays, highlighted by a pair of first place performances from Queshun Watson-Riggins and
Clarissa Cutliff.

Cutliff, a reigning Indoor All-American, earned a victory in the high jump with a mark of 1.73m, narrowly edging Kathe Isenbarger of fellow C-USA member Western Kentucky. Cutliff took the first place spot this year after finishing in second at this meet last season.

Meanwhile, Watson-Riggins, a freshman, continued his impressive start as a Panther with a triple jump mark of 14.76m, nearly a full meter in front of the next competitor. Watson-Riggins was coming off a third place finish at VMI the previous weekend.

Reed Service finished second in the men's long jump with a mark of 7.05m, just .08m behind the victor from Wisconsin.

The Panthers also saw success in the 200m races, with
Jada Roberson and
Terneka Gibson, placing 11
th and 12
th respectively in a field of 30, and
Patston Stewart and
Larry Grier going 9
th and 10
th in a field of 22. Roberson also finished in 5
th in the 60m.

On the distance side,
Sherilene Gelderblom represented the Panthers in the 3000m, crossing the line in 5
th place with a time of 10:06.09, with
Brittany Watson close behind in 10:18.99.
