MIAMI (Jan. 9, 2020) – The FIU track and field program is set to begin its 2020 indoor campaign, traveling to Birmingham to take part in the UAB Blazer Invitational at the Crossplex on January 10, and UAB Vulcan Invite the following day.
 
Field events in the Blazer Invitational will begin a 9:00 am with the men's shot put, while running events are set to begin at 10:45 with the women's 5000m. For the full meet schedule, click here. For live stats, click here.
 
The following day for the Vulcan Invite, the men's shot put will once again lead off the events at 9:00 am, while the women's 5000m will begin at 9:15 am. For the full Vulcan Invite schedule, click here, while the live results page can be found here.
 
FIU enters another season under the direction of head coach Ryan Heberling, who guided Clarissa Cutliff to the NCAA Indoor Championships last season.
 
This weekend is the first and second of four regular season indoor meets the Panthers will compete in, and last until the end of the month when FIU will travel to Houston.
