DALLAS (May 22, 2020) - FIU football's 
Jamal Gates will represent the Panthers in the league-wide Conference USA Esports Challenge, with competition starting on Monday. 
All 14 schools will be represented in the elimination-style tournament. 
One round will be played each week leading up to the championship game. The first round of the single-elimination bracket begins Monday and continues through Friday, May 29. The tournament features one representative from each institution. Players are seeded based on their team's finish in the 2019 C-USA football standings.
