MIAMI (Jan. 28, 2021) - The FIU women's tennis team announced its 2021 spring slate on Thursday, as the Panthers prepare for another big season on the courts. 

The Panthers are slated to play in 10 regular-season matches in 2021, with five of those at home. All five home matches this season are slated for Noon first serves. It is important to note that all matches are subject to change and additional contests may be added in the coming weeks.

The 2021 season gets underway this weekend, as head coach Katarina Petrovic and the Panthers travel to Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, Jan. 30, for an afternoon match in Fort Myers. Following a brief break, the Panthers will host their first match of the 2021 season on Feb. 20 as FIU welcomes North Florida.

FIU also welcomes Butler (March 16), East Tennessee State (March 17), Rice (April 2) and USF (April 4) for home matches this season, while traveling to Stetson (Feb. 22), WKU (March 19), Middle Tennessee (March 21) and UCF (April 11) to round out the regular season schedule. The 2021 C-USA Championships are set for April 22-25 in Denton, Texas and will be hosted by North Texas.
