MIAMI (Dec. 31, 2021) - The FIU women's basketball team has announced the addition of two home contests against the Ave Maria Gyrenes, with the first game to be played on Saturday, Jan. 1, at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center (OBCC) beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET, and the second matchup taking place on Monday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. ET.

FIU's previously scheduled Conference USA road game against Charlotte on Jan. 1 has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. The Panthers and 49ers will look to make up the C-USA contest at a later date this season.

The Panthers are now set to open C-USA play against WKU on Saturday, Jan. 8, at the OBCC beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
