MIAMI (April 15, 2021) - Marina Alcaide finally cracked the Oracle/ITA Top 125 National Singles Rankings this past week, as the FIU women's tennis senior was slotted at 103rd overall in the country. 

Alcaide has earned a 9-0 mark in singles action this year, with the majority of those matches coming at the No. 3 position. The singles ranking is the first for Alcaide as a Panther and is the first for FIU since Andrea Lazaro had her incredible run in 2018. 

With the regular season concluded, the 45th-ranked Panthers have posted a perfect 9-0 mark in 2021. The undefeated regular season is FIU's first in the program's 44-year history.

FIU is idle until April 22-25, as the Panthers travel to Denton, Texas, for the C-USA Championships hosted by North Texas.
