ATLANTA, Ga. - The Panthers wrapped up action at the ITA Southeast Regionals on Sunday afternoon, as FIU's doubles tandem of Kamila Umarova and Ekaterina Khayrutdinova bounced back in doubles play to reach Sunday's Consolation Doubles Finals, though, narrowly coming up short to conclude FIU's presence in Atlanta, Ga., for the weekend. 

The pair faced off with UCF's Jaleesa Leslie and Anique Kattenberg, who came away with a decisive 8-2 victory over Stetson's Noa Cohen / Nadejda Maslova in the semifinals, as Leslie and Kattenburg managed to overcome the Panthers for an 8-6 victory in the consolation finals.

Overall, the Panthers recorded six wins over the weekend, including four in singles in action, amongst a region that featured six teams that finished within the ITA Top 50 last season - including FIU.
