MIAMI – FIU Athletics is excited to announce a new multi-year partnership with Café La Carreta as the official coffee of the Panthers, which will now offer its lineup of Cuban Coffee products to FIU fans beginning at the Homecoming Game this Saturday, Oct. 8 vs. UConn (7 p.m. ET).
 
"We are extremely proud of the partnership of Café La Carreta and FIU," Benedetto Mazzucco, CEO of Allcoffee Rosters said.  "Both have deep Miami roots and are part of the international South Florida culture.  We are looking forward to offering "Cafecitos" to the Panther community for years to come."
 
The first La Carreta Restaurant was founded on Little Havana's famous Calle Ocho. Since 1976, its restaurants have been serving Miami's best, most popular Cuban style coffee at "ventanitas," a cultural staple of Miami, ever since.
 
"It is an exciting time to be joining this partnership with Café La Carreta and bringing another "Flavor of Miami" to the fan experience at FIU Athletics events," FIU Director of Athletics Scott Carr said.  "Café La Carreta holds a special place in the Miami community, and we are thrilled to have them as the official "Cafecito" of the Panthers."
