MIAMI (Feb. 9, 2022) – FIU beach volleyball head coach Rita-Buck Crockett announced the Panthers' 2022 schedule on Wednesday. The upcoming slate features two home tournaments, including the annual Surf N' Turf event on Miami's South Beach.

The Panthers begin their 2022 campaign with the University of North Florida Beach Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla., from March 4-5. The team faces Nebraska, UNF, Coastal Carolina and Jacksonville during the two-day tournament.
 
The annual Surf N' Turf event takes place March 15-16 at the Lummus Park Beach Courts on South Beach. The Panthers will play host to Palm Beach Atlantic, UNF, Florida Gulf Coast University and USC.
 
FIU then heads to DeLand, Fla., for the Stetson Beach Bash. The Panthers will take on Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, FAU and host Stetson on March 26-27. 
 
To open the month of April, FIU heads to the west coast for the East Meets West Invitational in Manhattan Beach, Calif., on April 2-3. The Blue and Gold open the west coast swing with host UCLA, before facing off with Hawai'i, Loyola Marymount and USC.
 
For the final road tournament of the season, FIU returns to the Sunshine State for the Florida State-hosted FSU Unconquered Invitational on April 8 and 9. The Panthers begin the weekend with LSU before taking on TCU, Texas A&M – Corpus Christi and host Florida State to close out the 2022 road slate.
 
The Panthers will finish the season by hosting the FIU Tournament at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts on April 15-16. FIU will play host to Tulane, FAU, Stetson and Florida Memorial. 
 
The postseason begins with the Conference USA tournament occurring in Huntsville, Alabama from April 29 – May 1.
