MIAMI – The FIU football program has announced that it will play North Texas in a two-game non-conference series beginning in 2023.
 
The Panthers and Mean Green will begin the two-game series during the 2023 in Miami before concluding the set of games at Apogee Stadium in Denton during the 2029 campaign.
 
FIU and North Texas have met a total of 10 times previously, with the Mean Green holding a 6-4 edge.  The programs have met for each of the past two seasons and faced off for the first time in 2005.
