MESA, Ariz. – Sophomore
Karissa Kilby (-1) led the FIU women's golf team tied for 13
th on Sunday afternoon, as the Panthers finished eighth out of 14 teams at the par-72, 6,184-yard Longbow Golf Club.
The Panthers used a strong second round performance, shooting 3-over-par collectively (291), to vault for spots up the leaderboard and=d hold their position over Sunday's final round and collect wins over six schools at the 2023 Clover Cup.
FIU (+30) finished with a total score of 894 and earned wins over Indiana (+32), Notre Dame (+42), Northern Illinois (+42), Mercer (+49), Chattanooga (+50) and Cincinatti (+61).
Kilby finished the final 36 holes under par for her second top-20 finish of the spring, combining for nine birdies with back-to-back 69s for a score of 215. '
No. 10 Texas A&M (-23) won the tournament's crown, while Angelo Arora (-11) of No. 46 Tennessee won individual medalist honors.

Riley Hamilton (+9) finished tied for 32
nd, highlighted by a 2-under-par 70 with four birdies in Sunday's final round, with a score of 225. Freshman
Casey Yu (+14) finished tied for 49
th with a score of 230.
Freshman
Kelly Shanahan (+15) finished tied for 54
th with a score of 231, while sophomore
Arlynn Spence (+17) finished tied for 61
st with a score of 233.
