MIAMI — FIU women's golf's Hoi Ki Lau and Karissa Kilby were both named to the All-Conference USA (CUSA) teams, as announced on Friday afternoon.
Ki Lau, a junior transfer from Hong Kong, China, was named Second Team in her first season at FIU. Kilby, a senior from Honolulu, Hawaii, caps a decorated Panther career with her third All-CUSA honor, being tabbed to the Second Team after First Team accolades in 2023 and Third Team honors last season. Both finished inside the top-10 at the CUSA Championships, showing steady improvement throughout the season.
Ki Lau finished the season with a 74.3 scoring average, placing inside the top-10 twice. She posted her most impressive outing of the season the CUSA Championships in St. Augustine, firing off rounds of 70-75-73 (+2), earning her a seventh place finish. Her performance aided the Panthers a to a third-place overall finish, tying FIU's second-best finish in the CUSA era.
Kilby posted a scoring average of 75.3 with three top-15 finishes. She also delivered her best rounds of the season at the CUSA Championships, taking eighth place with scores of 72-75-72 (+3). Kilby ends her FIU career as a three-time All-CUSA performer and NCAA Tournament individual participant, qualifying for selection in 2023.
