SARASOTA, Fla. — Women's golf finished its meet at the Michigan State-hosted Spartan Suncoast Invitational, coming in 14th of the 15 competing teams.
The Panthers shot rounds of 310-323-298 over the two-day, three-round event. The team shot +67 in the contest.
Freshman Romane Poissonnier ended as the team's best scorer, shooting +6 at the Suncoast Invite, and finishing 15th in the 83-golfer field. The France native scored 76-74-72 in her three rounds, shooting even in her final round, ending with 10 birdies in the event.
Gabriella Gomez finished as the team's second-highest finisher at 46th, going +16 in the meet, while Amandine Seguin finished 67th at +22.
Cataline Harvey and Emma Jaczkovics were the Panthers' final two finishers. Harvey ended 68th in the field shooting +23, while Jaczkovics was 76th, shooting +30.

FIU will head up to Gainesville to participate in the Gators Invitational on March 6-8, their third to last meet before the Conference USA Championships.
