Amandine Seguin Makes History, Golf Finishes Ninth at Coach Mo Classic

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Women's golf finishes competition at Furman-hosted Coach Mo Classic, finishing 9th in the 16 team field, highlighted by a two-over-par third round.

Sophomore Amandine Seguin had a historic third round of the meet, shooting a score of 64, eight-under par, and the best round of any golfer at the Coach Mo Classic. The round consisted of zero bogeys and eight birdies. The score ties for second in program history in an individual round, with Meghan MacLaren last shooting 64 in 2015. Seguin ended as the Panthers' best overall scorer, placing 24th of 91 golfers in the field with rounds of 81-77-64 and a staggering 12 birdies. The France native's score boosted her up 50 spots in the field on day three.

Freshman Romane Poissonnier was second on the team and 33rd in the field with rounds of 76-75-75, while Catalina Harvey placed 36th with rounds of 74-75-77 and six total birdies in the meet.

Gabriella Gomez ended fourth on the Panthers and 57th in the field, shooting rounds of 77-78-76, while Emma Jaczkovics placed one behind her in 58th. The freshman ended shooting 81-76-75 to round out the Coach Mo Classic for FIU.

The Panthers have a long break before traveling to the Lone Star State for the Conference USA Championships in Frisco, Texas from April 20-22.
