EUGENE, Oregon (July 8, 2023) - FIU's Blake Orr and Cole Crkvenac placed third and fourth, respectively, at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in Eugene on Saturday. 

FIU freshman Hannah Jansen also competed during the week int he USATF Outdoor Championships in the javelin, earning an 11th place finish. 

Orr threw 62.30m on his final attempt to earn the third place mark, while Crkvenac had a mark of 61.37m on both his second and third attempt. 

The competition caps an impressive freshman campaign for the trio, with Crkvenac and Jansen advancing to the NCAA East Preliminaries, and earning a victory at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational.
