Tamiami Park available for tailgating at all six home games in 2023

MIAMI – Florida International University Athletics is proud to provide complete game day information to fans prior to the start of the upcoming 2023 football season. Alumni, students, and fans of all kinds are encouraged to come out to FIU Football Stadium this fall, with student tailgating returning to Tamiami Promenade and general tailgating available in Tamiami Park for all six home games.

"The game day experience for Panther Nation is very important to our university and to our athletics department," Director of Athletics Scott Carr said. "We will continue to do everything that we can for every person that steps foot on campus on game day to have an exceptional time. Tailgating and the sense of community that it brings is a vital part of the college football experience, so we will continue to strive to make it as easy as possible for our fans to tailgate on campus and have fun."

TAILGATING
Reintroduced last season, tailgating in Tamiami Park returns in 2023, but this time it will be available for all six home games. The Cuban Memorial Area of the park, just southeast of FIU Football Stadium, is the perfect setting for large gatherings of fans to enjoy pre-game activities before kickoff. Priority parking and tailgating spots closest to the stadium will be reserved for Panther Club members at the $150 level and above. General single-game parking in The Park will be available to purchase online prior to gameday or in-person on gameday for $20.

Student tailgating also returns to Tamiami Promenade in 2023. The beautiful backdrop of Tamiami Hall makes a great spot for students to enjoy pre-game activities before heading into the stadium. It's also the location that the FIU Football team will make their way in for Panther Walk, two hours, and 15 minutes prior to each game. For more tailgating information, click here.

Tailgating will be available six (6) hours prior to kickoff on the four Saturday home games of the 2023 season and at 3 p.m. on the two Wednesday night games this fall.

Again in 2023, the team will be dropped off on the east side of Tamiami Hall and walk through the promenade and into the stadium at Gate 6. The band will be playing, and the spirit team will be there cheering them on. The team will be excited, so make sure to be there to join in on the fun.

STUDENT INFORMATION
In addition to Tamiami Promenade for tailgating, FIU students will rest easy knowing that as soon as they are ready to enter the stadium, they will walk through Gates 6, 6A, and 7, conveniently located near the promenade at the northeast corner of FIU Football Stadium. From there, students can take the first stairwell on the north concourse up to student seating in sections 101, 102, 135, and 136 on the north sideline, as well as sections 105 through 108 in the east end zone.

It's never been easier for students to purchase student guest passes for their friends and family. They can be purchased Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the University Credit Union Box Office at the northwest corner of FIU Football Stadium.
