Lexington, Ky. - Giada Bianchi and Reka Orsi Toth have been honored as American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Collegiate Beach Volleyball First Team All-Americans for their performance during the 2024 season.

The pair dominated their competition all season, playing in all 33 matches on the year, with all their duals coming on court one. The duo achieved a team-best, 30-3 record with 10 wins against ranked opponents, including then-ranked No. 11 Cal Poly, No. 6 LMU, No. 9 Long Beach State, No. 16 Florida Atlantic,  No. 11 Arizona State, No. 4 Florida State, No. 10 LMU, No. 16 Stetson, No. 18 Florida Atlantic and No. 19 Florida Atlantic.

During the regular season, the pair won AVCA/CBVB National Pair of the Week and CUSA Pair of the Week in the same period, ending March 10, for their undefeated performance at the Long Beach Invitational. The duo went 4-0 in California, going 3-0 against ranked opponents, including then-ranked No. 11 Cal Poly, No. 6 LMU and No. 9 LBSU. 

The duo once again controlled their court in the Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championships, where they went 4-0 and won all of their matches in straight sets, playing the likes of Missouri State, No. 19 Florida Atlantic, University of Alabama - Birmingham and eventual champion runner-up, Tulane University.

CollegeBeachVB.com have Bianchi and Toth ranked as the second best pair on court one in the entire nation, while TruVolley has them ranked third. 

Both Bianchi and Toth have earned AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball All-American honors in the past, with Bianchi earning AVCA Second Team All-American during the 2022 season, and Toth also earning Second Team All-American in 2021, and First Team All-American in 2022 during her time at LMU.
