LAKELAND, Fla.– FIU men's & women's cross country both competed at the Ed Holloway Classic on Friday and both teams had multiple top ten finishes at the event.
On the men's side,
Jared Falchook paced the Panthers with a time of 25:34 (5:08/mi), placing second in the 8K.
Brad Malick-Beltran joined him in the top ten with a ninth-place finish, crossing the finish line with a time of 26:15.
On the women's side, the Panthers had four athletes place in the top ten in the 6K. Beata Wrigstad (3rd, 21:56),
Ane Martin Del Campo (6th, 22:56), Corali Jou Fabrega (8th, 23:19) and
Lorena Enamorado (10th, 23:26) led a strong showing for FIU.
Both teams will be back in action next at the CUSA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 1 in Huntsville.
