MIAMI — FIU's football program, newly under the direction of head coach Willie Simmons, opens its 2025 Spring Practice slate on Tuesday, Mar. 4.
Spring practices are scheduled for each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, culminating with FIU's Spring Game on Saturday, April 5th at 3 p.m. inside South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium.
On-campus practice sessions will be held at the FIU football practice fields – which are located adjacent to the south side of Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
Practices will not be open to the public; however, Panther Club members are permitted to attend as a membership perk. Panther Club members are asked to contact Joey Corey (jmcorey@fiu.edu) or Chaz Cheeseboro (ccheeseb@fiu.edu) in advance to ensure proper accommodations can be made.
The Tuesday and Thursday practice times will feature a 9 a.m. start while Saturday's practices will begin at 10 a.m. On Tuesdays and Thursday, media will be allowed entry at 11 a.m. for the final 30 minutes of practice, with interviews for requested coaches and student-athletes commencing at approximately 11:30 a.m. On Saturdays, those times shift to 12 and 12:30 p.m., respectively.
Parking can be accessed in Lot 10 on the west side of Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

ALL MEDIA MEMBERS WHO WISH TO ATTEND AND SHOOT VIDEO OR PHOTOS DURING FIU SPRING PRACTICE SESSIONS MUST CONTACT THE FIU ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO RECEIVE A MEDIA CREDENTIAL TO COVER EACH PRACTICE.
