MIAMI – Nominations are now open and being accepted for the 2026 FIU Athletics Hall of Fame Class, which will be only the third class ever inducted.

The deadline to nominate candidates for potential inclusion in the Class of 2026 is 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, Mar. 1, and can be submitted by clicking here or the link at the top of this release. All inductees of the FIU Athletics Hall of Fame must be nominated.

Former student-athletes, teams, coaches, administrators and contributors of FIU Athletics are eligible to be nominated; however, a minimum of 10 years must have passed from a student-athlete's final season of eligibility and a minimum of five (5) years for all others. Originally created in 2005, the FIU Athletics Hall of Fame welcomed its inaugural class in November of 2006 but had no new members until the department revitalized the HOF last year and inducted the second class in September of 2025.
