As a Junior (2013-14): Notched top five times  for FIU in the 200 freestyle (1:52.19), 500 freestyle (4:57.70), 1000 freestyle (10:29.91), and 1650 freestyle (17:08:27)…Time of 1:52.19 in the 200 freestyle came in the C-USA Championships…500 freestyle time came in the preliminary round at Mizzou (11/21) for a career best of 4:57.70…1000 freestyle time came in the meet against Indian River (11/1), where she came in third and locked down a career high of 10:29.91…Time of 17:08.27 in the 1650 freestyle against Mizzou (11/21) additionally was a career high… Was also part of FIU’s relay team that posted a time of 1:33.58 at the C-USA Championships in the 200 freestyle (Gustafsdottir, Alfani, Andersson) 

As a Sophomore (2012-13): Served as a Freestyle and Butterfly specialist for the Panthers during the 2012-13 campaign...Represented FIU at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in the 100, 200 and 1650 Freestyle...Swam the mile in 17:08.44 to earn a 10th place finish at the SBC Championships...Also earned 13th place finishes in both the 100 and 200 freestyle at the Championships...Earned an individual title vs. Central Connecticut State (1/11) in the 50 freestyle, swimming at a time of 25.12 seconds. 

As a Freshman (2011-12): Spent Freshman year cheering on the team from the pool deck.

Prior to FIU: Was a four-time all-state swimmer and holds the Jenison High record in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:02.85… Also swims the 50, 100, and 200 yard freestyle events… Top times: 50 Free 24.2, 100 Free 52.9, 200 Free 1:53.01, 500 Free 5:02.85… National Honor Society.

Personal: Born on April 10, 1993… Chose FIU over Drury University, Truman State, Wayne State and Oakland University… A psychology major with a pre-med track.
