As a Sophomore (2013-14): Owned second place in the 400 IM (4:22.20) at the C-USA Championships…Posted a time of 2:02:52 in the C-USA Championships for the 200 backstroke… Overall, earned impressive top three times for FIU in the 200 freestyle, 200 backstroke, and 400 IM…Was part of FIU’s relay team in the 800 freestyle (Gustafsdottir, Perez, Farrugia) that earned a top time for the 2013-2014 season…Also participated in the relay team for the 200 medley. 

As a Freshman (2012-13): Participated in three events at the Sun Conference Tournament, including the 200 Back, 200 IM and 400 IM...Swam to a fifth place overall finish at the SBC Championships in the 400 IM, earning a time of 4:24.48, which was the third best time for the Panthers during the 2012-13 season...Earned an eighth place finish at the SBC Championships in the 200 Back, clocking a time of 2:01.88...Finished 10th overall in the 200 IM at the Championships, earning a time of 2:05.52...Earned an individual title at North Florida (11/3) in the 100 Free, posting a mark of 55.05. 

Prior to FIU: Brings international flare to this year's recruiting class, hailing from across the pond in Northumberland, England… While at King Edwards VI School, Wilde ranked among the top-10 in her age group in the backstroke and freestyle; while being nationally ranked from 2008-12… She was a national medalist as part of her 4X200 relay team in 2008 and 2012… She was also an open water champion in 2009-10… Wilde led the City of Newcastle ASC (2007-12) on the county, national and international swimming and relay teams.

Personal: Born September 16, 1993 in Northumberland, England… Daughter of Debra Anne and Antony Robert Wilde… Has two siblings, Stephanie and Chris… She is qualified level two in teaching aquatics… Majoring in international business and plans to set up her own global business… Enjoys shopping, the gym, going to concerts and spending time with friends and family.
