Prior to FIU: Played baseball for four years for head coach Lou Duffin at Monsignor Pace High School, earning All-Dade honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...batted .376 for his career with six home runs, 24 RBI ans 12 steals...hit .400 as a freshman and junior, .365 as a sophomore and .387 as a senior, helping lead Pace to the 2006 State Championship.

Personal: Born October 29, 1987 in Miami, Fla...son of Tony and Anibel Adams...selected FIU after being recruited by TCU, Furman, Miami (Ohio) and Indiana...has an older brother, Jon, and an older sister, Natalie...is undecided on a major.
