Prior to FIU: Played four years of baseball for head coach Lazaro Llanes at Archbishop Carroll...was the team’s top pitcher his senior year when he went 4-3...went 7-2 his junior year.

 

Personal: Born April 20, 1986...son of Ignacio and Maria Martinez...has two brothers,  teammate and fraternal twin, Carlos, and older brother, Eric...majoring in finance and accounting.
