2007: Saw limited action off the bench, going 0-for-6 with a run scored on the season...pinch-hit in the seventh inning in the second game of a doubleheader against Florida A&M (2/17), reaching on a fielder’s choice and scoring...made his career debut against Central Florida (2/4), grounding out in the ninth inning.

Prior to FIU: Played baseball all four years at Goleman...was a team captain from 2004-06 and hit .460 with six home runs and 48 RBI as a senior...member of his team’s “400 Club” and honored as a scholar-athlete in 2004-05 and 2005-06.

Personal: Born March 15, 1988...son of Henri and Lydia Cepero...has an older sister, Lissette...graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was a member of the National Honor Society...is undecided on a major.
