One of four baseball student-athletes to make the 2007 Fall Honor Roll  with a grade-point average above 3.0.

Prior to FIU: Played four years of baseball for Dean Adams, four years of football and two years of basketball at Grandview High School...earned all-conference honors in baseball as a junior and senior, and was an all-conference selection as a quarterback in football as a senior...hit .471 with three home runs and 29 RBI his senior year...a second team all-academic selection as a junior.

Personal: Born December 24, 1988...son of Tim and Pam Schlehuber...has a younger sister, Jenna, and a younger brother, Jordan...won state championships as an 8-, 9- and 10-year old with the Colorado Reds...his brother’s godfather, Brian Fisher, played baseball for the New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners and Pittsburgh Pirates...chose FIU after receiving interest from Arizona, Creighton and Wright State.
