2007: Suffered an elbow injury against Florida A&M (2/16) that cut his season short and forced him to redshirt...played in seven games, starting five (four at first base, one at second base) and hit .133 with a double, two runs scored and one RBI...recorded his only two hits of the season in the season opener at Central Florida (2/3), doubling and driving in a run to help lead FIU to a 5-3 win.
Prior to FIU: Played two seasons at Central Florida Community College where he was a two-time All Mid-Florida Conference selection...spent the 2006 summer with the Luray Wranglers, helping lead the team to the Valley League Championship with eight home runs...selected to the 2006 Valley League All-Star Game and Home Run Derby...batted .352 with five home runs and 32 RBI alongside current FIU teammate John Petika in 2006 for Central Florida CC...hit .289 with six home runs and 31 RBI as a freshman...played baseball at Wellington HS where he hit .356 with six home runs...chose FIU over Florida Atlantic and Notre Dame.
