Biography

2004: Earned a start in 14 games while playing in 29...came off the bench against Savannah State (5/1) to hit two home runs, scored a season-high three runs and pick up four RBI...had a hit in four of his first five games...hit a crucial RBI double in FIU’s six-run fourth inning during an 8-6 win over Arkansas-Little Rock (5/21).

Prior to FIU: Played both second and third base for two seasons at Miami Dade College...hit at a .355 clip en route to earning second-team all-conference honors as a sophomore...a three-year letterwinner at Miami Springs High School...hit .422 as a high school senior.

Personal: Born July 5, 1982...son of Gustavo Barroso and Pilar Revilla...physical therapy major.
