Biography

2019-20 (Senior): Played and started in all 28 games this season…Averaged 9.8 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game and 1.4 assists per game….Shot 65.9 percent from the free-throw line…Guimaraes owned eight double-doubles on the season…Posted a career-high and team-high 14 rebounds twice, against Austin Peay (12/20/19) and UTSA (1/4/20) and career-high four rebounds versus Marshall (1/30/20)…Led the team in rebounds per game (7.5) and blocks per game (1.3)…Ranked second on the team in points per game (9.8), field goals made (109), free throws made per game (1.9)…Her 7.5 rebounds per game ranked ninth in Conference USA.

2018-19 (Junior - FIU): Played and started in 29 games this season...Averaged 8.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game...Shooting at 72.1 percent from the free throw line...Led the team in free throws made (62) and blocks per game (0.9)...Posted a career-high 22 points against Palm Beach Atlantic (11/9/18).

2017-18 (Junior - FIU): Redshirted her junior season after transferring from Georgia Tech... Earned C-USA All-Academic Team honors.

2016-17 (Sophomore - Georgia Tech): Earned ACC All-Academic Team honors... Played in a total of 24 games while getting the starting nod twice at Georgia Tech... Averaged 1.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 9.7 minutes per contest as a sophomore... Pulled down a career-high nine rebounds against Dayton (11/25/16) as a sophomore.

2015-16 (Freshman - Georgia Tech): Earned ACC All-Academic Team honors... Played in 30 games for the Yellow Jackets and started eight times... Averaged 2.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game... Scored a career-high 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting, while hauling in a season-high seven boards against Southeastern Louisiana (11/18/15).

Prep: Represented Portugal in both 2013 and 2014 U18 European Championships... Was No. 12 international ranked player by ProspectsNation.com in class of 2015... ProspectsNation.com gave her four-star rating among forwards... Played for Portugal, helping team to ninth-place in U18 European Championship in Matosinhos, Portugal... During tournament, averaged 6.4 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game...
