Marc Davis enters his third year with FIU Football in 2016 as the program's Director of Football Operations.

His duties at FIU will include assisting with the day-to-day operations of the football program, team travel, football event management and all football related special events. In addition, Davis will assist administratively with academics, compliance, recruiting, scheduling and serves as FIU's pro liaison.
 
Davis comes to FIU after serving two years as the football operations coordinator at South Dakota State University. There he was responsible for the operational needs of the Jackrabbits' football program. While coordinating the team travel, Davis oversaw the SDSU football budget, organized the team's recruiting weekends, coordinated special events and worked with the program's Difference Makers Club. He also helped organize team community service events and coordinated the team's training table.
Prior to his time a SDSU, Davis served as the football operations assistant for two seasons (2010-11) at the University of New Mexico.

From 2009-2010, Davis was a stadium operations intern at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium. There he assisted in the hiring, training and supervising of more than 75 student employees. He was also responsible for creating logistics for visiting teams to TFC Bank Stadium, from team arrival, team departure and locker room setup.

A 2009 graduate of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, he served as a student assistant for the offensive line during the 2008 season and was a graduate assistant for the tight ends at the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) in 2009, where he earned a master's degree in activities administration.
