Prior to New Mexico: Lettered for three seasons at Iowa Central…in 30 games he caught 107 passes for 2,027 yards and 24 touchdowns, with a long of 69 yards …posted 54 receptions for 863 yards and 10 touchdowns in his third season at Iowa Central.

Prep: Lettered in football at Glades Central High School.
