2003 (Redshirt): A redshirt who was given a good look at cornerback in the spring...understands the passing game, breaks to the ball well and coaches are anxious to see his progression.

McArthur High School: Helped head coach Keith Franklin’s Mustangs to a 2003 district title...a first-team All-Broward County selection was all-district and a 5A honorable mention all-state pick...named secondary MVP in 2002...made 38 tackles as a senior, recovered a fumble and carried the ball once, good for 23 yards...picked off five interceptions as a junior...also ran prep track and played junior varsity basketball.

Personal: Born May 24, 1985...selected FIU over interest shown by Rutgers, Georgia Southern, Delaware, Massachusetts and Florida Atlantic...son of Robert and Constance Hemingway...Business major.
