2010 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in all 13 games, making three starts at cornerback… registered 29 tackles, 18 of them unassisted, one for loss, forced a fumble, broke up five passes and intercepted one, which he returned for 18 yards… had five stops, two unassisted and half for loss, one interception, and one pass breakup at Texas A&M (9/18)… made two stops at Maryland (9/25)… credited for four tackles and one pass breakup at North Texas (10/16)… totaled three tackles, including half for loss, against rival Florida Atlantic (10/30)… made four stops and forced a fumble in FIU’s victory at Troy (11/13)… had three tackles apiece against Arkansas State (11/27) and Middle Tennessee 12/4)… had one pass breakup in FIU’s victory over Toledo at the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (12/26).
2009 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 11 games, making one start… credited with 19 tackles and one pass breakup… made one tackle apiece in games against Rutgers (9/19), Toledo (9/26), ULM (10/3), Troy (10/17) and Arkansas State (10/24)… registered two tackles against Louisiana (10/31) and Florida (11/21)… had four tackles against Middle Tennessee (11/7)… made a season-best six stops against North Texas (11/14).
2008 (Freshman): Redshirted and worked with the scout team defense.
Norland High School: A two-star cornerback prospect of Rivals.com...a first-team All-Dade county selection of The Miami Herald with 32 tackles, four interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns, and one fumble returned for TD...a member of the Dade/Broward all-star game and the Florida North/South all-star game...played nearly every skilled position on the field for head coach Nigel Dunn... At quarterback, had 390 yards and five touchdowns. At running back, had 235 yards and four scores. At receiver, he caught seven passes for 120 yards and two scores...runs a 4.5, 40-yard dash...also recruited by Troy, Florida Atlantic, Middle Tennessee, Western Michigan, Central Michigan.
