2007 (Redshirt Junior): Came on strong in the second half of the season, starting five out of the last six games on the defensive line...ranked second among FIU defensive linemen with 25 tackles and led the front four with three pass breakups...recorded five tackles for loss, totaling 19 yards...recorded one sack for a loss of four yards...played in all 12 games, earning starts against ULM, Arkansas, Arkansas State, UL and FAU...vs. North Texas (12/1): Provided good pressure in the series finale with a game-high four quarterback hurries...vs. FAU (11/24): Made one solo tackle...vs. UL (11/17): Tied a season high with five tackles, including two solo stops...at Arkansas State (11/3): Tied a season high with five tackles, all assists, including three behind the line of scrimmage for losses totaling four yards...also batted down one pass...at Arkansas (10/27): Made one tackle and broke up one pass...at ULM (10/20): Had perhaps his best game of the season, setting career highs with five tackles, two tackles for a loss of six yards and the second sack of his career, for a four-yard loss...vs. Troy (10/6): Assisted on two tackles, including one for a loss of two yards...at Middle Tennessee (9/29): Registered two tackles, including one for a loss of seven yards...at Kansas (9/22): Made three tackles...at Miami (9/15): Played but did not record any tackles...vs. Maryland (9/8): Assisted on one tackle...at Penn State (9/1): Did not record any tackles, but broke up one pass.
2006 (Redshirt Sophomore): Saw action in six games on the season with a start at Alabama (10/28) at defensive tackle...finished with eight tackles (six solo)...played career game in season opener at Middle Tennessee (8/31) when he recorded five tackles (four unassisted) with three tackles for losses of minus-12 yards and a sack...collected a pair of tackles at Alabama with a pass breakup...also picked up a solo stop at South Florida (9/9).
