PREP CAREER: Rated as a 3-star recruit by 24/7 sports... Ranked as the 113th-best DE from his class... Did not play football until moving to Orlando, Florida and trying out for football team at Edgewater High School at the age of 15... Prior to playing football, intended to play basketball... Had two sacks in his first varsity game and finished with 15 on the year... As a junior, White had 20 sacks as Edgewater went 9-3... Earned 27 sacks as a senior, scoring two touchdowns on fumble recoveries and taking his team to the state semifinals with a 12-2 record... Had offers from Akron, FAU, UConn,  and USF.
