As a junior (2015): Took first place 11 times during the season and finished no lower than fifth place all season…  Took two events at the Winston-Salem State Open (shot put and weight throw) and at the USF Triangular (shot put and weight throw)… Shattered her career-best in the discus when she threw for 49.38 meters at UCF Twilight and placed first in the event… Also set a career-mark in the javelin at 32.15 meters at the USF Triangular, where she took second.

As a Sophomore: Set new marks in the shot put (15.90m) and hammer (54.61m)... Took first at the 3rd Annual South Florida Multi-cultural Games in both the shot put and hammer throw... Over the course of eight meets, she finished in the top three on 10 occassions... Threw shot put at the NCAA Regionals in Jacksonville, Fla.

As a Freshman: Named Most Outstanding Freshman at the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships after finishing second in the shot put. . . Garnered the Most Outstanding Freshman honor for the SBC Outdoor Track & Field Championships as well. . . Collected two All-Sun Belt Conference honors at the SBC Outdoor Championships, placed second in the shot put with a throw of 14.52m. . . On the first day of the SBC Outdoor, broke her personal record in the discus by nearly six meters and finished third in the event with a throw of 45.47m. Her previous best in the discus was 39.50m. She achieved the mark on her first throw in the finals.

Prior to FIU: Played basketball, volleyball, softball and participated in track at Central High in Brooksville. . . All-county in basketball (2009-11) averaging 27.3 points per game, all-county in volleyball (2010-11). . . Two-time state champion in shot put. . . Team MVP in track and basketball in 2010 and 2011.

Personal: Born Feb. 3, 1993. . . Sociology/psychology major. . . Recruited by Jacksonville, Central Florida, South Florida and Troy. . . Brother, Hakeem, plays football at Florida Atlantic.
