Prior to FIU: Played volleyball in Ravenna, Italy, for Club Italia, a youth national team in 2006-07 and 2007-08 ... Attended Liceo Scientifico A. Oriani, Ravenna during those years ... In the summer of 2006-07, took part in the Eight Nations Tournament in France, taking fourth place ... Also participated in the European Youth Olympic Festival in Belgrade, Serbia with the Youth National Team, again placing fourth ... Prepared for the Juniors National European Championship in the summer of 2007-08 before a broken ankle ended her participation in the event ... That squad went on to take first place and earn an automatic bid to the World Championships in Mexico the following year, however, Italy did not participate due to the swine flu outbreak ... In 2008-09, attended Liceo Scientifico Azzarita after Club Italia was relocated to Rome ... Attended her final year of high school at Liceo Scientifico Aleardo Aleardi International School of Verona (2009-10) and played for Verona Volley Femminile ...
