Biography

Prior to FIU: A four-year high school letter winner in soccer where she gained honors as a first-team all-district player in 2002 and ’03...named as the team’s Best Defensive Player as a prep freshman and MVP as a sophomore and junior...earned Defensive Player of the Year accolades last season...helped South Garland to the 2004 district championship...also played two seasons of scholastic volleyball...gained amateur experience with several club teams, including FC Texas and the Garland Strikers, winning Player of the Year honors in 2002 and ’05...participated in the choir, Beta Club and Student Council.

 

Personal: Born July 11, 1988...undecided major...daughter of Jim and Cindy Nuffer...selected FIU over interest shown by the University of Tulsa and University of Arkansas.
