Senior (2010): Team Captain… Broke out with a career-high five goals scored, tied for second-most on the team… Started all 21 games… Recorded first multi-goal game of career with two goals in the first half of victory over Delaware State (8/27), including the game-winner… Assisted a goal in win over Robert Morris (9/5)… Scored game-winner in shutout over UALR (9/24) to secure FIU’s first conference-opening win in eight years and set a new career-high for goals… Scored insurance goal at Troy (10/1)… Headed goal off corner in win vs. WKU (10/8)… Assisted lone goal in 3-1 loss to Middle Tennessee (10/10)… Played 81 minutes of FIU’s first post-season win since 2004, a 2-1 decision over Troy (11/3) in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Tournament.

Junior (2009): Served as co-captain and started every game of the season...scored at Stetson in 3-0 season opening win (8/21)...began an seven-game streak of attempting a shot on goal at USF (9/4)...scored second game-winner of career to lift FIU past WKU (9/27) in overtime for program's first win ever at Bowling Green.

Sophomore (2008): Played in 19 games, starting all but one...third on the team with two goals and two assists...scored a goal and assisted on a pair vs. South Alabama (10/17)...scored the game-winner the next time out vs. Troy (10/19).

Freshman (2007): Along with Maria Gualdron, one of only two players to start every contest for FIU... led the team in assists (5) and was second in points (9)...against SBC rival ASU, she scored the game-tying goal and assisted on the winning score.

Prior to FIU: Recorded 68 goals and 87 assists as a varsity soccer player at Coral Reef Senior High...Named All-Dade third team sophomore and junior year, All-Dade first team and All-State senior year...recognized as team MVP her junior and senior year...also named MVP of the Carrollton Classic and New Balance Tournament.

Personal: Born May 19, 1989...Business major...hopes to have a business career as an entrepreneur...daughter of Guillermo and Lydia Sorzano.
