Biography
Junior (2010): Finished with second-best single-season goals against average (0.90) in school history… Tied school record for most shutouts in a season (7) by a goalkeeper… Notched five saves in first shutout of season at Florida Gulf Coast (8/26)… Named a CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performer of the Week and the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for performance against No. 14 Duke… Came up with nine saves in double overtime draw vs. No. 14 Duke (9/10) to keep the Blue Devils scoreless for the first time all season and break FIU’s four-game losing skid in the series… Recorded four-straight shutout wins to start conference play, the second-such streak ever achieved in school history… Recorded four saves and credited with first career assist on game-winning goal in shutout over UALR (9/24) to secure FIU’s first conference-opening win in eight years… Made four saves to preserve FIU’s shutout over ULM (10/21)… Came up with three saves to blank Florida Atlantic (10/27) in regular season finale, FIU’s first win in Boca Raton since 2000… Credited with her 11th win of the season after FIU’s first post-season victory since 2004, a 2-1 decision over Troy (11/3) in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Tournament.
Sophomore (2009): Started between posts in 3-0 season opening victory versus Stetson (8/21)... Recorded season-high 11 saves in double overtime 0-0 tie at USF (9/4)... Posted a 1-2-1 record and a 1.86 goals against average.
Freshman (2008): Goalkeeper started all 19 games and played every minute for the Panthers... Ranked fourth in the Sun Belt with 98 saves... Recorded a 1.63 goals against average and had shutouts at Louisiana (10/10), vs. South Alabama (10/17) and at Florida Atlantic (10/31).
Prior to FIU: Earned rookie of the year honors her freshman year, while also being named All-County Honorable Mention... Named to the all-county second team as a sophomore... As a junior, earned team MVP honors... Set the school record for shutouts in a season with 13 and least goals allowed in a season with 12... As a senior, earned the Pepsi Student-Athlete Award and made the County All-Star team... Member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society and the Principal’s Honor Roll (2004-08).
Personal: Born March 16, 1990... Daughter of Harry and Debra Raimo... Her great uncle, Harry Agganis, was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 1952, but signed to play for the Boston Red Sox.
