2004-05 (Sophomore): A fierce competitor who teamed with Paula Zabala to form an outstanding doubles combination while adding strength to the middle of the singles order...with Zabala, the team’s 18 spring doubles wins and overall 21 victories ranked as the team’s best...went 14-7 in No. 1 doubles, picking up wins over No. 39-ranked Jennifer Klaschka and Ann-Kristin Siljedstrom from Middle Tennessee and No. 27 Yanick Dullens and Suzana Maksovic of Denver in the semifinal round of the Sun Belt Conference Championships...won all three doubles matches played at the SBC tourney, including an 8-0 shutout of South Alabama’s Ana Rupic and Klara Jarova in the finals...won seven-straight doubles decisions from March 17-April 3...played more than half of her singles matches at the No. 3 position, going 6-6, and finishing 12-8 overall...victorious over SMU’s Jenny Langer in a tie breaker at No. 2 singles in the Golden Panthers’ upset win over the No. 50-ranked Mustangs in Dallas...beat FSU’s Lindsay Deason in straight sets in FIU’s upset over the No. 33 Seminoles.

Prior to FIU: Transferred from Southern Nazerene where she earned first-team NAIA All-America honors...ranked No. 17 in the 2004 final singles ranking for NAIA women...teamed with countrywoman Larikah Russell to win the 2004 NAIA Women's Doubles Championship with a 25-1 record...has represented the Bahamas in Federation Cup play, making 30 appearances since 1999...in ITF Junior World competition, ranked No. 231 in 2001 singles and No. 119 in 2002 doubles...COTECC (Central America, USA and Caribbean) ranked her No. 5 in singles and No. 1 in doubles.

Personal: Child Psychology major...member of the 2004-05 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll...daughter of William and Jewel Fountain.
